Hi,

The printer does not support automatic two-sided scanning.

 

You may install the HP Full Feature Software and select to manually scan both sides using the HP Scan software, then you will be guided to reload the other side of the original:

Hi, that great for asking here about HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw. As these printer don't support the auto dual side scan. I test it on the document of buy a house in tampa florida for multiple time. As these are large number of document which I have to scan on daily basis.  I watched alot of trick on youtube for doing dual side scan on HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw. But nothing works.
