vertical lines on scan only from ADF

I have tried all the suggestion in the support section to get rid of this vertical line. does anyone have any idea where it may be coming from so i can go back and clean the rollers again? for example which roller etc. i have tried to reset the printer as well and it has not worked. this is the line.

This is caused by dirt or debris on the ADF scan glass 99% of the time.

i tried to clean it. can you be more specific as to how i can do it. i did read the support diagrams etc. 

i don’t know what ADF scan glass is. the scanner works fine manually

I am not sure I can be more specific than the video I linked.

You can line up the location of the streak on the copy with the thinner piece of glass towards the left (typically) of the scanner glass.  I think the video is pretty specific about how and where.
