Hello.

I'm asking here because there's no easy way to search internet with this terms (too many results, none on-topic).

My question is - what kind of documents can I scan (what kind won't damage the scanner), namely:

a) can I scan thin, non-bendable items (items that shouldn't be bent, for example - postcards)?

b) can I scan thicker kind of items (for example - driving license, credit card, ID card)

The printer's scanner is the kind of feeding slot, not the glass panel.

Any help appreciated!

Hi I would like to assist to the best of my ability to solve your problem.I hope the information i supply will be of help.

The document feeder is not recommended for these type of scanning. You will definitely have a lot of paper jams in the unit and might also damage the feeding mechanism.Rather use the flat glass bed for these type of scanning.Hope that will help.
