I was wondering if you could
set a multipage scan so all pages are combined into one file
change setting so multiple one sheet docs can be batched processed
and seperated into multiple individual files

Yes, you can scan many pages to one pdf file.
(a) Put originals to ADF (note: no more than number of sheets allowed),
(b) Start scan from computer,
(c) Select 1 or 2 sides
(d) Scan,
(e) Save as one pdf file.

No, printer does not know where is the last page of document 1, where is the first page of document 3.
But you can scan 3 documents (in this example) to 1 pdf file YHEN use the following software to split them. For exampe doc 1 from 1 to 5, doc 2 from 6 to 8 and doc 3 from 9 to 23...
