Hi @RomsP ,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

The HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 has two-sided scanning capability, but it is manual.  If you use the HP Scan (from the FULL featured software), it will automatically sort the pages.

This is similar to the HP OfficeJet Pro 6960 series. This example will explain better:

HP Officejet Pro 6960 / 6961 /6968 / 6966 : Scan a 6 pages 2 sided document using the ADF

The HP OfficeJet Pro 9015/9025 has two-sided scanning capability and it's automatic.

The HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 scans both sides of a two-sided document in 1 pass.

Hope that helps!

Spoiler
There seems to be only a Windows version of this software. I can find no Mac software. If I go to http://10.0.1.63 I get this:

https://cl.ly/66b652

Is there a Mac version of this or who else can I scan/copy both sides?

Hi @brockstr ,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Please refer to this for webscan, it supports both side scanning.

Important to ensure source is  ADF and select 2-sided.

Note, Webscan can be used for WIndows, Mac or Chromebook.

Hope that helps!

Hi:  I have as 8025 Officejet and am looking for a link for the FULL featured software to enable manual 2-sided scanning mentioned by Greenturtle.  I tried the software at the following link with no success.

My sympathies, friend.  I have been trying for several days to get an answer to your same question; I've been bounced all over the place to blind alleys leading to no solutions, wrong types of printer, misleading or incorrect answers to my questions, and no answers.

If I could simply get answers to these two questions I'd be happy:

  1. Is there HP software to provide manual duplex on the HP 8035 ADF, and how do I get it???
  2. Is there HP software to provide OCR scanning on the HP 8035???

It's hard to believe I can't get these simple questions answered in a straightforward fashion.  I'm quite disappointed and frustrated since I got this printer only a couple of days ago.

Hi @Dano07

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

Spoiler

FULL featured software to enable manual 2-sided scanning mentioned by Greenturtle.  I tried the software at the following link with no success.

https://support.hp.com/ie-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-OfficeJet-Pro-8020-All-in-One-Printer-series/242...

The link is correct,  to download the HP FULL featured software, select the Software Utility and download (and install)

HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 full featured sofwtare.jpg

Once you have installed the HP FULL featured SOftware successfully, start the HP Printer Assistant and then select HP Scan.

(the videos link posted previously will be useful to show you how to scan 2-sided documents manually.)

Also under HP Scan (shortcuts), check if there is a shortcut for "Save as Editable Text (OCR)" option. If there isn't, then the printer does not support the OCR feature

Example.

Save as Editable text OCR.jpg

Hope that helps!
