Installed the HP Support Assistant (sp79243) on a new 260 G2 Mini after a fresh installation of Win 10 x64. Ran the check for updates for the first time and it stalls on "Analyzing your system". It's been spinning on Analyzing your system for an hour now.
I tried uninstalling HP Support assistant and then uninstalling HP Solutions Framework then rebooting then deleting the C:\ProgramsFiles(x86)\Hewlet-Packard\HP Support Framework folder then rebooting and reinstalling sp79243.
This had no effect, we're still spinning on "Analyzing your system".
Any suggestions?

I doubt it's the PC.
HP support asssistant has problems most of the time.
Try uninstalling it again and this time try to see if the new or the old version(before the latest update) works for you. I had the same problem.
