iOS

This is my first HP Sprocket - the Luna Grey one, and I’m having quite a few issues with it. Initial set up was perfect and I even printed one photo before the system just went kaplut and didn’t print any other photos out. So I reset the device (and uninstalled the app from my phone multiple times), and I was setting up again. I cannot get past selecting the accessory. The app just completely crashes. It recognises that it is my device but does not let me continue and connect it properly. Please help!

Hi @Jordi3

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

Which version of iOS are you using?

Check for any updates available for the iOS device.

  1. Update your Sprocket iOS app to version 2.03.1 or later
  2. Charge your sprocket battery to at least 50%
  3. Power off your sprocket printer
  4. In the iPhone Bluetooth menu (Settings -> Bluetooth), tap the ‘i’ button next to the “sprocket” device, then tap “Forget This Device”
  5. Restart your iPhone by pressing/holding the power button for 3 seconds, then sliding to power off.
  6. Power on your sprocket printer
  7. Discover and pair your sprocket printer by tapping on the “sprocket” device when it appears in the iPhone Bluetooth menu (Settings -> Bluetooth).
  8. Open the sprocket mobile app, where you’ll be automatically prompted for the firmware upgrade.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
