I cannot get help from anyone about my HP Sprocket  200 printing in pink hues. It is extremely disappointing. Someone please help as this is very frustrating.

Hi @journalgirl135,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

That sounds frustrating, especially with something like a Sprocket that's supposed to "just work" for quick prints. When your HP Sprocket 200 is printing photos with a pink or magenta tint,

1. Use Genuine HP ZINK Photo Paper

  • Make sure you’re using genuine HP ZINK paper, not third-party versions.
  • Always load with the blue calibration card at the bottom (barcode side down). It calibrates color and heat settings for correct printing.

2. Clean the Printer

  • Reinsert the blue Smart Sheet and print a photo. It should auto-clean.
  • You can also gently clean the roller using a lint-free cloth.

3. Check App and Firmware

  • Open the HP Sprocket app.
  • Tap the menu ☰ > Sprocket > Printer Settings > Check for Firmware Update.
  • If there's an update, install it — firmware fixes often address color/print issues.

4. Reset the Printer

  • Turn off your Sprocket.
  • Press and hold the power button for 7 seconds, then release it. It should reset.
  • Try printing again after restarting both the app and your phone.

5. Try a Different Phone

  • Sometimes phone-to-printer communication introduces issues.
  • Try printing the same photo from a different device (still using the Sprocket app) and compare.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

I've tried all of these suggestions and it's still not working. I still have a warranty for this product and would like to exchange it as I think it's defective. Who can I reach out to?
