Is the HP sprocket AirPrint compatible? I have an application that can use this printer but I need to know if it will show up on a "printer list" on the iPhone.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums, I'd be happy to help you with your printer issue!
No, the HP Sprocket is not AirPrint compatible. Sprocket uses the Bluetooth feature to connect to the Apple and Android devices. You need to have an iOS device running 8.0 and later to use this printer. Also, the Bluetooth needs to be turned on.
You need to then install the HP Sprocket app from the Apple Store and then can use the App to print the pictures. Here is a wonderful article which will help you setup and use the HP Sprocket: http://hp.care/2tNJSWS
