I’ve used my Sprocket 2-in-1, the most recent time I’ve tried to print it doesn’t print the full 2x3 sticker. It prints portrait instead of landscape no matter what setting I select.

Hi @LauraB3,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I know how frustrating it can be when your Sprocket doesn't print as expected, especially when you're excited to use it. Let’s get it back on track!
Here’s what usually helps when your HP Sprocket 2-in-1 is printing incorrectly (portrait instead of landscape and not filling the full 2x3 area):
1. Check and Update the Sprocket App
- Make sure you’re using the latest version of the HP Sprocket app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Sometimes updates fix image orientation and size issues.
2. Set the Orientation Within the App
- Before printing, open the photo in the HP Sprocket app, then:
- Tap Edit (pencil icon).
- Rotate the photo manually to landscape orientation if needed.
- Save the edit and then try printing again.
3. Use Only the Sprocket App to Print
- Avoid printing directly from your gallery or other apps — always use the HP Sprocket app, which is designed to handle image scaling and orientation for that specific 2x3 format.
4. Restart the Printer
- Turn the Sprocket off, then back on.
- Try a test print after restarting both your phone and Sprocket.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
