I just purchased a brand new Sprocket 200 printer and I have the iPhone 14Pro and my Sprocket is up to date on any updates. Why would my pictures be printing in a pink hue the very first time I’m printing? This is really frustrating as I have a full battery, and everything should be working perfectly.

Hi @Natalie-Holley,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating it can be to encounter issues with a new device, especially when you're excited to start using it. A pink hue on your prints from the HP Sprocket 200 could indicate a few different issues.

  • Printer Calibration: Sometimes, printers, especially portable ones like the Sprocket, might need to be calibrated. This ensures that the colors are accurately represented in the prints. Check the printer's user manual or HP's support website for instructions on how to calibrate the printer.
  • Print Settings: Ensure that the print settings on your iPhone are correct. Sometimes, the color settings on the device might affect the output. Make sure you're using the default settings or adjust them to see if it makes a difference.
  • Paper Quality: The quality of the paper used in the printer can also affect the color output. Make sure you're using the recommended HP Sprocket photo paper for best results. If you're using third-party paper, it might not produce accurate colors.
  • Software or Firmware Issue: Even though you mentioned that your Sprocket is up to date on updates, there might still be software or firmware issues causing the problem. Check for any new updates from HP and make sure your iPhone's operating system is also up to date.
  • Hardware Issue: While less likely with a brand new device, there's always a possibility of a hardware issue.

Try these steps and see if they help resolve the pink hue issue with your HP Sprocket 200 printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
