Sprocket select

My sprocket says it is 100% charged when plugged in but as soon as you unplug it the battery is completely run out. It will also not update the firmware even when plugged in and just prints out blank sheets. So gutted as only ever printed out one packet of prints which it did perfectly and suddenly won’t work. Please help

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that your sprocket is not charging, I am glad to assist you.

Use a different USB cable to charge the device. Also, try resetting the printer.
 Meanwhile:-

Rese the Sprocket

Reset your mobile device and Sprocket to clear any error states.

  • Turn off your mobile device, and then turn it back on.
  • Turn on the Sprocket.
  • Remove the Paper Cover, and then use a narrow object, such as a pen or paperclip, to press and hold the Reset button for 3 seconds until the Sprocket turns off.
  • NOTE:The location of the Reset button varies by Sprocket model. Typically, the button is located underneath the Paper Cover, but can also be found on the outside next to the charging port.
