I haven't used my sprocket for a while. Today I tried to print and I get paper feed error. I've changed paper and reset the printer. The firmware is up to date and still won't feed paper.

Hi @Shoogs,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing a paper feed error with your HP Sprocket, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the issue.

  • Check the paper: Ensure that the paper you're using is compatible with the HP Sprocket. The recommended paper for the HP Sprocket is HP ZINK Sticky-Backed Photo Paper. Also, ensure that the paper is not damaged, wrinkled, or folded.
  • Remove any obstructions: Make sure there is no dirt, dust, or other debris inside the HP Sprocket. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the inside of the printer.
  • Restart the HP Sprocket: Turn off the HP Sprocket and then turn it back on. This can help clear any errors in the printer.
  • Reset the HP Sprocket: If none of the above steps work, try resetting the HP Sprocket to its factory settings. To do this, press and hold the power button and the reset button at the same time for about 5 seconds.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
