Hi @Krishna92388135

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

If your Windows 11 laptop is stuck in an automatic repair loop, there are several steps you can take to gently guide it back to normal startup. This issue often stems from corrupted system files or failed updates, and it can usually be resolved without data loss.

It’s understandably distressing to see your laptop stuck in a loop when all you want is a smooth boot.

Let’s walk through a series of calm, focused steps that can help restore your system.

1. Interrupt the loop to access recovery options

  • Power off the laptop completely.
  • Turn it on and as soon as the logo appears, press and hold the power button until it shuts off.
  • Repeat this 2 more times. On the third boot, Windows should enter Recovery Mode.

2. Use Startup Repair

  • In Recovery Mode, select Advanced Options > Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Repair.
  • Let the process complete. If it fails, continue to the next step.

3. Boot into Safe Mode

  • From Advanced Options, choose Startup Settings > Restart.
  • When the menu appears, press 4 or F4 to boot into Safe Mode.
  • If Safe Mode works, you can uninstall recent updates or drivers that may have triggered the issue.

4. Run System File Checker

  • In Safe Mode, open Command Prompt as administrator.
  • Type: sfc /scannow and press Enter.
  • This scans and repairs corrupted system files.

5. Use System Restore (if enabled)

  • Go to Advanced Options > System Restore.
  • Choose a restore point before the issue began.
  • Follow the prompts to restore your system.

6. Reset your PC (without losing files)

  • If none of the above work, go to Advanced Options > Reset this PC.
  • Choose Keep my files.
  • This reinstalls Windows while preserving your personal data.

Let me know how your laptop responds after these steps. You’re doing the right thing by staying calm and methodical—let’s get it back to a smooth, reliable startup.
