Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have such a computer, since the power of the 180w power supply is not enough for the video card, I decided to buy the remaining components. Since the i5 8600 comes with 1151 and 1151v2 sockets, please help me find out which socket is used.

@IvanMelnikov,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

The challenge is to find a power supply upgrade for your HP ProDesk 600 G4 SFF.  The dimensions of the stock 180-watt power supply with p/n: L29203-001 are: 85 x 52 x 200mm -please verify. Officially, there are no power supply upgrades available:

However, in a related discussion:

I speculated that a 450-watt power supply (p/n: L80890-003) with these dimensions: 95mm x 72mm x 165mm may be (notice added emphasis) compatible, but it is unclear to me if this power supply will physically fit inside your case.  If I had an HP ProDesk 600 G4 SFF, I would try it, and if it didn't work out (trial and error), I would return it to Seller to get my money back.

That may not be so easy to do in your country.

This is the best we can do for you at this time.

Kind Regards,

@IvanMelnikov,

As a follow-up, your desktop is compatible with (at least) 65-watt TDP 8th and 9th gen Intel processors, such as the i7-8700, i7-9700, and the i9-9900.

Kind Regards,
