After upgrading to windows 10 creator's edition, orientation sensor does not auto-rotate.
Using regedit, I tried setting
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AutoRotation to 1
Auto-rotation still doesn't work.
On reboot, this registry entry's value is reset to zero (I tried this a few times)

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that auto-rotation does not work on your HP Spectre x360 - 13-4101dx.
This issue could occur if the tablet mode is not enabled on the computer.
Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.
And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Switching Between Tablet Mode and Desktop Mode (Windows 10)
Let me know how this works.
You have a good day ahead.

Hi @efreudenthal, I am the @Chimney_83. It looks like you were interacting with @Rainbow23, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.
Thanks for the reply, recommend you run HP Support Assistant to make sure all the drivers and BIOS are updated on your computer. Click here.
If the issue persists, please download the sensor driver from this link and install it on the computer and check.
Let me know how it goes.
