New HP 7 tablet running Jelly Bean.
I've tried going into settings and un-checking the "Touch Sounds" but I still get the keyboard clicking when typing. I've looked through all settings and tried check and unchecking everything that seeems remotely related. Is there another fix? TIA

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Have you tried a simple reboot to see if the change will stick? Power completely off, then back on and see if it worked.

Go into Settings > Language and Input. In the Keyboard section, tap on the "settings" icon all the way to the right of Google Keyboard. There you will be able to turn off keyboard sounds.
Hope this helps.

Here's what I did with mine Settings => Ease of Access => Keyboard => Filter Keys => Beep when keys are pressed or accepted and jus switch it to off. I had to figure it out by myself, I hope that it'll help you though if you havn't already figured it out.

Thank you, this information helped me fix the sound and the delay in typing. It must have switched itself on when I turned my laptop into keyboard mode and it didn't switch off the keyboard, hence repeated tapping of keyboard and ease of access was turned on.
