Hi
Just bought a HP x360 and love it. Can't get the Control + Home and Control + End shortcuts to get me to the top and bottom of a word document. Anyone know how?
Also the 'at' symbol - I can get it by pressing Shift + 2 but not on the key which shows it 2 along from the L key.
Many thanks for your help.
AJ

Hello ajbb,
For future reference, the X360 is considered a laptop, not a tablet.
Which version of Word are you using?
For the Ctrl Home / Ctrl End shortcuts, you are asking if you have a keyboard malfunction or if something is wrong with Word itself, correct?
Depending on the version of Word you have, go to File (or the Word Orb) in the top left corner and choose Options towards the bottom.
Go to Customize Ribbon and click the Keyboard Shortcuts: Customize button at the bottom.
In the pop up box, go to...
Categories: All Commands
Commands: EndOfDocument
Current keys: Ctrl +End (should already be showing )
Now press and hold the Ctrl key and press the End key. The shortcut should now show up in the box to the right.
If it does not appear when typed, you possibly have a keyboard malfunction.
The Command line for Ctrl Home in All Commands is called StartOfDocument. Navigate to that and do the same thing again.
As for the question about the @ key, I dont know what you mean by "2 from the L key".
The keyboard should only have to one @ button shared with the 2 key on the top left side of the keyboard.
Let me know if this helps.

Many thanks for posting a reply to my query. I am using Office 2007 (8.1). I know the x360 isn't a tablet but under the Discussion Boards Laptops seemed only to be about Notebooks.
I did what you suggested and in Word documents it works! - I am able to use Ctrl + End and Ctrl + Home to move to the bottom and top of a document. However, on my old laptop the Ctrl + End & Ctrl + Home took me to the top of the screen if I were typing emails or browsing the internet. Do you have a solution for this?
@the @ key now works when I press the @ key on the screen.
Many thanks for all your help.
