I should've mentioned that "hey Cortana" worked fine, but it did so when the phone screen was on. I could never get HEY CORTANA to wake up the phone. With this update, i can say HEY CORTANA and the phone will wake up.

My auto brightness works for a while after i restart the phone but after being on for a while, it quits adjusting. I find it easier to just check the setting in the notification bar.

My brightness is messed up today too. Does not work. Same brightness no matter what. Even manual mode does not dim it or increase brightness.

Go to http://www.microsoft.com and do a search for: Windows Device Recovery Tool. Download and install. After install connect phone to PC using USB and follow instructions. If phone isn't shown when you open the application, select My phone isn't Detected/Other OEM/HP/Elite X3. You should see the latest firmware version. Select latest firmware and install. Remember this will erase all files, contacts, and all your favorite pictures. So, make backup of whatever you want to keep to your PC before you do this.

I'll mention a problem i once had when i bought the phone:
During a call the phone would turn off or reboot. I called HP and they sent me a revised SIM card tray. I haven't had that problem since!
My problem was before the latest firmware update

I have problems with automatic brightness, it's working not correct, I turn it off and change it manual, but it's uncomfortable

There's a settings located at Settings/System/ Battery/Battery Saver Status Until Next Change make sure its not active.
