Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂
As I understand the HP Slate 21 is not working anymore,
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
Do you mean the computer isn't powering on? or is it that there are lights on the PC but no display on the screen?
When was the last time it worked?
Were there any recent updates installed or interrupted before this issue occurred?
While you respond to that, I recommend checking with an alternate power outlet,
And ensure the “Power Button hasn't Lockout” this feature allows you to lock the power button so that it cannot be used.
To lock the power button, press the Power button and Volume down button and Volume up button at the same time and hold them down for 10 seconds while the monitor is powered On. Upon locking the power button, an OSD message “Power Button Lockout” is displayed for 10 seconds. When the power button is locked and pressed, the OSD message “Power Button Lockout” is displayed for 10 seconds.
When the power button is locked, holding down the Power button and Volume down button and Volume up button at the same time for 10 seconds will unlock the power button functionality and turn off the monitor. When the power button is pressed, the monitor will remain On until the button is released. If the power button is locked and the monitor is Off, the power button will remain functional so the monitor can be powered On.
Keep me posted,
If the information I've provided was helpful,
Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
That'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.

Thanks for the help, but now I have tried with a new power supply and I also tried pusching the volume up and down together with the power button, but It's still not working. The computer is complete "dead" no response at all. I guess I've to buy a new one

Hi,
as @Riddle_Decipher is out of the office today, I'm replying to you. You've done a remarkable job performing the steps.
The evidence indicates towards an internal hardware issue. I suggest you to contact our HP phone support to explore the hardware service options available.
All the best! 🙂
