Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

Hello,

i accidently disabled intel graphics through bios (igpu).

Now i'm staring at a completely black screen.

I already leave the tablet a few days disconected from battery. There is no tiny hole for reset, like other tablets.

Can someone tell me if there is a way to recover from this?

Thanks in advance. Best regards.

Greetings @oskkary

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you changed a setting in BIOS and now the computer is not booting.

Not to worry, I will be glad to help.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?

Please disconnect any devices connected to your computer.

If you have any USB or DVD in the computer, please disconnect it.

Perform a power reset on the computer. Click here for assistance.

Disconnect the adapter, remove the battery (if it can be removed)

Hold down the power button for 30 seconds to drain the static in the computer.

Connect the adapter and battery to the computer.

Turn the computer ON.

Also, try a BIOS rollback. Click here

Keep me posted.

I was looking for similar problem. Just a little bit consideration... @Chimney_83 ... I saw you are a "HP Support Agent". I'm really terrified about it... You gave a pre-packed solution that was unuseful and it's frustrating as similar answers are gave by "professionists "on this and other forums (like microsoft one). It' like you are joking with us an having an internal competition about who has more posts.

The answer you gave could be useful for a notebook. Instead, as it's write in the title (and you should know if you work for HP), the OP was talking about a TABLET, a convertible.... Do you really think that it's so easy to disconnect the battery? Whe should open the aluminium case to do it...

Please, be more precise and give us the right support and not the wrong one...
