HP Elitetab X2 1012
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We purchased a bunch of EliteTabs for our office and I can't seem to figure out how to boot them up with the lid closed, and be able to see the output from the dock.  As it stands, the users either have to open the tablet to see the screen results for fingerprint swipes, or just swipe a few times with the lid closed and hope they got it.

It seems kind of silly that with the Thunderbolt dock attached, security set to off in the BIOS, that I can't see the screen on my external monitor for boot and have to wait for Windows to load.

Additional info - with security off, the external mouse and keyboard work, there's just no external display. (connected VGA)
