Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips, Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

I see from the post that you would like to login into the computer without a password on your HP notebook. I'll be really glad to help you with this,

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

What is the product number of this computer? (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

What is the Operating System installed on the PC?

What type of account do you have? Is it Microsoft connected account or Local account?

Are you able to boot the computer to the desktop screen?

Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting this on HP Forums?

In the meantime, you could follow the steps suggested in the support document for HP PCs - Managing User Accounts and Logins (Windows 😎 - Click here

Hi @King_looie-1,

Thanks for the update,

I appreciate your time and efforts,

I see that you have a Microsoft account and having trouble login onto your account. The Only option would be to perform System recovery and set the computer back to the factory shipped settings If you wish to reset your Microsoft account password online. You can reset your password on any device connected to the Internet.

See the Microsoft password reset page (in English) to reset your password.

Link to perform System recovery: Click here

Keep me posted,

If the information I've provided was helpful,

give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.
