HP 10 2101

HP 10 2101 tablet extremely slow. Tried removing some of grandkids apps but no help. What might I do? Much thanks.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

Let's perform Factory Reset:

  1. Tap Apps.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Under Personal, select Backup & reset. Note: For a full resetmake sure the Back up my data and Automatic Restore checkboxes are unchecked.
  4. Under Personal Data, select Factory data reset.
  5. Tap Reset. This should improve overall device performance.

Something less drastic to try - go to Settings/Storage/Cache and tap it.  Tap the "Clear Cache for all apps" to free up some RAM.
