Hello

pretty please can someone help me. My hp pavilion g6 laptop has a serious issue, when I switch it on all that it shows on the screen is: “scanning and repairing drive (c) 0%” I’ve left it for about 3 hours the other day and it doesn’t go further then that

Welcome to HP Community

I suggest you run a Hard drive Test to confirm the Hardware Functionality

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Hard drive

Keep me posted 😊

Did the Test complete? If all the Test passed, I suggest you perform a Reset. Please follow the instructions in this Link: https://support.hp.com/sg-en/document/c04742289

Let me know how it goes 😊
