I had this tablet for a while and my little sister is now using it and today it ran out of charge and now won't boot up!
when i plug it in hp logo comes on and just stays on the screen - if i plug it out it just disappears and refuses to boot or show anything on screen - if i keep the charger in for a while (a few hours) nothing happens and it still stays on hp logo and then i plug it out and again same issue it refuses to show anything.
if I hold the power button when its charging it just remove the logo after 10 sec and when i release it it comes back on in 2 sec.
while plugged in - holding power and both volume buttons (and up and down separately) just causes it to remove the logo which comes back in a few sec also
while not plugged in - holding power and both volume buttons (and up and down separately) does not do anything screen remains black
The tablet is not damaged (externally at least) since I never dropped it and always had a case and screen protector on accept the top volume button is a little pushed in (from my little sister constantly pressing it) but it works normaly
update : while writing this i got the logo to flash when i plug it in
update 2 : logo only flashes when its plugged in the computer when I plug it in wall it just stays on
update 3 : windows gives " The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and Windows does not recognize it.
Recommendation
try reconnecting the device. If Windows still does not recognize it, your device may not be working properly"
this happens every time its plugged in
update 3 :
i have managed for it to stay with the hp logo ones plugged out of the charger (after about 5 hours of charging) for about 5 seconds then it flashed a battery with a yellow triangle beside it with an exclamation mark and that stayed for about 2 sec then just shut down, I tried the same again (plug in- hold power button for 10 sec until logo disappears- plug out) but this time nothing appeared, i thought if i plug the charger in at the point when it flashed the low battery image it would charge but i have not gotten the low battery symbol after that first time, will update if that works
i really hope to get this tablet fixed since i do not have much money to buy another one!
im listing descriptive things that happen so maybe someone would be able to trouble shoot

Hi there @Vlad3,
May the Forums be with you! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. I understand that your Slate 7 tablet is no longer starting properly. I am happy to help with this.
Please see: HP 7, HP Slate 7 Tablets - Tablet does not start (Android 4.1/Jelly Bean). Some of the things you have tried, but try doing them in sequence from the start, and read the document carefully as you go.
