Hello, I am a paper girl and a rich doctor threw out a tablet, along with a number of other things. Apparently they did a fall cleanup or kicked out their son and I happened along and loaded up my truck full of goodies. One of those goodies icluded a locked hp touch pad with charger and case.  I don't want any infromation on it, I just want the device.I've gotten it to turn off but I can't gfetf itf fto go into recovery mode or factory reset. I can't even get it into download mode.  Anyhow here are the photos to identify it. There is no serial number or anything on the case. Can anyone please help me?

Sorry about the rotation. I have no idea why it did that.

Hope it helps,

that was one of the many threads that I looked at and followed the directions on but it only rebooted and returned to the lock screen. That's why I finally chose to post to the community to get help.

OH! I had to do it while it was powered on! No one ever mentioned that in the thread, however I cannot get very far because the terms and conditions will not load. 😞

After more fiddling around and research I found out how to do it and decided to Android it. However I don't know which version to put on, how do I know if it's 4g or wifi? After poking around in the settings I found "Network" with "Carrier" in the hardware square. Does that mean it's 4g?
