Getting just black copies on my HP4480 when I scan. What's wrong? Printing off computer is fine.

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post. 

 

I understand that you are unable to scan or copy on the printer but are able to print, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you. 

Are you placing the document facing down on the scanner glass?

 

Refer to this HP article to make sure you are following the correct procedure to copy.

If you are following the correct procedure, try the steps suggested in this HP article.
