Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

In windows network and sharing center, the option to "turn off password protected sharing" is not persistent. When I push [save changes]  the page closes as it should. But when I open it again the page has not saved the change.

Thanks for posting the question.  We found that it works if you set it by steps given below.

 

1. double click on the wireless icon or network icon on the task bar

2. click on your network

3. click on the properties

4. In the new window, change the settings
