Master reset

I have this old CPU and monitor and do not remember the password. I’m just sitting here on the main screen to log in, spamming random passwords in hopes to guess one. It doesn’t matter if I reset it to the default settings, I just want to be able to log on and use it. Any help will be much appreciated.

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

When was the last time it worked without these issues? 

In the meantime, please try the steps mentioned below:

If it's the windows log-in password, then the only way to get it back is to perform a complete recovery. 🙂
