The A-Data 2 GB MMC 220X card worked well on my now-dead Tungsten E, but it doesn't work on my Lifedrive.
I think most of us using these devices wish to use the latest 4 and 8GB and future larger capacity SD cards on these devices so that, perhaps, we can have all media ready to use on them--that's the reason for the interest: It goes without saying. Furthermore, I think that most of us wish to use a Palm instead of a mere music player--Palm does more and is more flexible.
We wish Palm well in fixing nagging incompatibilities and limitations....

4GB SD 150X from Transcend has worked fine right out of box. Over 2GB of music on it along with less than a GB of pics and misc files.
To poster above with the SDHC, there are CABs on TreoCentral and PPCGeeks that can be installed on device to enable a SDHC 4GB card. SDHC won't work with proprietary software without a tweak.

I bought a 4 GB Kingston SDHC card. It works fine with most of the applications and files but turn out that when playing video with TCPMP I noticed how the frame rate seems to decrease and at points the image gets stuck and the audio track keeps playing so when the video "unfreezes" it's way ahead of the point where it was when it got stuck. Other than that it works fine. I've used both Card Reader and Softick Card Export II with several computers and I've been able to access all my information and both read from the card and write to it.
Has anyone else experienced something like this under similar circumstances?

With my Treo 680P, I have gotten a SanDisk UltraII 2.0GB card to work - but only AFTER formatting it on the 680P. Before that, the 680P recognized the card, gave no errors when using it, but continuously would either lose files or directories, or corrupt them. After formatting the card on the 680P, the card works fine in the phone, and still works fine on my PC's card reader slot, with no corrupted files to date.
I have yet to try larger cards, but will when I can and post results if I find others that work. I know others have posted success with 2GB cards - so the reason I am posting this is for those who are NOT having success (or having issues) may benefit from my experience with using those cards AFTER successfully formatting it on the Treo.
