Hello,
I just got a Palm Tungsten E2 and it does not recognize a sd card at all. A friend of mine had a 32mb Multimedia card and it did recognize that one, but not luck with the sd cards... Helpppp

pilinky7658, the E2 works fine with up to (and including) a 1Gig SD card. Anything larger, or of the "SD HC" (High Capacity) type of SD card will not work.

Aren't MMC cards old tech that's no longer manufactured? SD/SDHC more competently takes MMC's place now. (Likely next to cease pestering us, also, is xD, the darling child of Fuji and Olympus--nowadays, relatively pricey and limited to 2GB: Even those companies, as indicated by their newer camera lines, have thrown in the towel and now bow to the throne of SD/SDHC!) I own an ADATA 2GB MMC card that works fine in cameras--as indicated before on another post, I was puzzled why it didn't work in the Lifedrive, yet, it did work in my Tungsten E....
Anyway, I haven't had anymore issues with I/O errors concerning my Lifedrive and the SDHC 8GB PNY card--the combo does as it's now intended. I'm concsidering naming my card--maybe then it will show up on the lists of input devices. By the way, neither tune icons nor alphabetical lists of tunes show up when the flash card info icon is pressed on the LIfe Drive, after navigation away from the "Life Drive" storage icon. Nothing at all is visible except a background. Pocket tunes and MMplayer do allow tune visibility and navigation....
