HP X3000 wireless mouse
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Lenovo ideapad running Windows 10 (64 bit) and today bought a brand new HP X3000 wireless mouse which is not being detected by my OS.

I have repeatedly switched USB ports for the dongle, pressed the connect button for 10 seconds, 15 seconds right up to 120 seconds in 5 second intervals. The Operating System still refuses to recognise it as connected.

Can anyone please help me with this? I have used HP kit for the last 6 years without too many issues which is why I bought this mouse today.

@DaveyBoy54 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the  HP X3000 wireless mouse is not working.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

Have you tested this mouse on a different computer?

Please refer to the following link to how to connect the mouse to the computer.
