worked for me too with one slight alteration which may or may not be necessary

I had to dig out an old CRT from the basement so I don't know if they take time to build static... but I also connected my pixi to the PC to keep the screen on.

I tried a few times just manually hitting the screen button whilst turning the TV off and on with no luck...  but after 2 or 3 goes with the phone connected to the PC, it worked

The screen block has ocurred to me now about 4 times in the last week, I have been able to use the tv static trick to unlock it, but this has become quite annoying. Has anyone been able to identify some way to prevent this problem. This problem appearing over and over could be an indication of the hardware failing?, the only change to the phone was adding a touchstone cover about 1 month ago. Any ideas?

I have been trying all types of ideas online to get my touch screen to respond. I had it working for about an hour yesterday and then it stopped. Trying the static from the tv was an instant fix!!! Thank you..Thankks so much because I can't do another phone right now. Plus I really like my Palm Pixie. Thanks. Yaay!

Look at the screen closely, it might be cracked, I had the same issue then realized the screen had cracked.
