Another thing I do is never to install the HP updates just used the windows ones. @Plettza keep bugging HP until they will give u a replacement, then keep it on .6 and you can enjoy it a little bit.

@CloudLau wrote:Hey Guys,
There's new release of BIOS 1.15 who'd above 1.07 interested to try if it solves the issue?
Type: BIOS
Version: 01.15 Rev.A
Operating systems: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Release date: Apr 23, 2017
File name: sp79885.exe (8.5 MB)
The release notes say:
"Provides improved security of UEFI code and variables. HP strongly recommends transitioning promptly to this updated BIOS version which supersedes all previous releases. NOTE: Due to security changes, after this BIOS update is installed, previous versions cannot be reinstalled."
I would guess this is to fix the Intel ME security flaw CVE-2017-5689 https://security-center.intel.com/advisory.aspx?intelid=INTEL-SA-00075&languageid=en-fr

Whew... what a cluster... I'm having the same issue described here. About half a second delay before it starts taking in my finger input... then if I let my finger off the screen for any more than 5 seconds it's like it has to recognize me again.
They're up to 1.17 now... and nothing at all has changed.
Has HP done anything to help out all the people who bought this and don't have a warranty to fall back on?
