I desperately need some help with resetting our PC. Our oldest daughter had this laptop for school and does not remember her password. I’ve been trying to reset it but every time I try I get an error message that says “Additional free space is needed on the drive where Windows is installed. Free up some space and try again.” Since I don’t have her password I have no way of freeing up space. Is there another way for me to reset it or to create another Windows login??

Hi:
Unfortunately if you don't know the Windows password, and there is no space, you can't reset the PC.
But you can make it usable again as follows...
With another working Windows PC, use the media creation tool to create a bootable W10 installation flash drive from the link below. You will need an 8 GB USB flash drive, and you want to create the 64 bit installation media.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
Boot from the flash drive, and when you get to the screen that asks 'Where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the hard drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.
Click Next, and W10 will install.
After the installation has completed you can install the drivers and available software from the notebook's support page.
