How do you restart printer spooler

Hi there @Ceejay3175

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, both from other users, HP experts and other support personnel. I understand that you are looking for how to reset a print spooler on an Android tablet. As I understand it that is not an option, but I will help you with an alternative.

First make a copy of all of your personal data, photos, etc to an external device. Then try clearing the cache of your print app:

  1. Press your Menu button then select Settings (or System Settings).
  2. Tap Application Manager (or Apps).
  3. Tap the app icon you want to repair.
  4. Tap Clear Cache.

After completing these steps, check if the app is working properly. If it's still not working, repeat steps 1-3, and then tap Clear Data.

Keep in mind, clearing the app's data will remove any custom options and settings. It's the same as uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

If that works then you are good, otherwise, try a factory reset

Performing a Factory Reset on Your HP Slate 7 Tablet (Android 4.1/Jelly Bean)

If either of these work for you, then please mark this post as a solution.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on 12-3-2015.
I started a1-page print, then canceled it before it went to print. The cancelation never occurred, and the message on my initial screen said something like Printer off-line, or Cancelation failed, or the like.
Per the HP instructions, I emptied the cache, tried "sleeping" the phone, and the problem remained.
Then I cleared the data, and the message changed to "Printer error," but now I noticed what looks like the ability to restart the print job.
Hopefully you can address the underlying software issue(s). Thanks.

For the last year I was able to print without any problem from my Samsung Galaxy 5.0 uising the printer HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One. Most recently when I send something to print from my Samsung (Android) phone I get a message "Unfortunately, Print spooler has stopped working" Iand I can not print anything.

At the same time I can print without any problem, from my Dell Latitude Laptop, using the same WI-FI and Printer.

For now, I am bypassing this annoying printing problem by forwarding whatever I need printed from my Samsung phone to the Dell laptop and get it printed from there.

By the way, I have installed and enabled (and unistalled, re-installed and re-enabled severa times) the HP Print Service Plugin for Android v5.0 app, as well as the Hp Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One app.

I also, run a Diagnostic Wireless Test for the printer and all os OK. No problems found.

Any suggestions as to how to solve this problem and start printing again directly from my smart phone will be greatly appreciated

Thanks

I understand that you are unable to print from your Samsung Galaxy 5.0 to your HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Printer.

Let's go through a few steps to resolve this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Print and Scan from the HP AiO Printer Remote App (Android & Apple)
