Hi,

I see that on other tablets like the Slate 8 pro, slate 7 and others, HP allows users to download a restore image, but not for Slate 21.

Where can I download for the slate 21? I need to download it.

Thanks,

Hetz

I know how to do a reset (and besides, "adb reboot recovery" and doing it from there is much simpler 😉 ).

I'm looking for the Restore image(s). The downloadable file. I think something has been damaged with the official update to R19 so I want to make sure it's related to the update.

Well, since no one answered, I had to dig up in HP's massive download site,

and I found it, the restore image is located here:

Please note, the download speed is slow, so have some patience 🙂 .

Thanks for reporting back!

I asked my contacts in HP about this missing download back in October 2013 after then slate 21 debuted.

Nice to know it has finally been posted!

(That is most likely why you didn't get a better response from us - it didn't exist at the time!).  😉

But it does not exist now! The link is broken. So... How I can download 4.2 android for Slate 21 s-100? I need to roll back my 4.4.2 version with problems and return to 4.2

Thanks.

I've reported the dead link.  HP is basically closed until after the New Year arrives, so it may be a while before the link is fixed.  😞

Could you tell me what problems do you have? I also upgraded to 4.4.2 and so far I have not seen any problems. ..

Basically, when I connect the slate21 to my headphones or amplifier, the sound is very very poor and without bass. Seems to be tunned only for the little speakers of Slate. Tunning DTS is a waste of time...

Have you tried? Where is possible to find the image of 4.2 for Slate21 s-100?

Thanks for comment...
