I didn't come for a debate either - I'm merely explaining why some solutions aren't solutions.
Some items are simply "use" items - and have nothing to do with architecture or structure. And, IMHO - lowering the potential for security is never a solution.
The Stream 7, for me, is a business device, and has business related information on it (or I'm trying to get to that point). So the encryption portion (which still never "finishes"), and the ability to better secure the device with a better password is important.
Security has become a MAJOR issue in the last few years, and increasingly so as time goes on. In fact, someone has just defeated two factor authentication, considered to be the best in security we have - so far. Now that's gone too.

The design is very logical and provides a very logical solution to your problem which is not supported by other device manufacturers at this time.
The "wake up from sleep" process has been analysed by HP when striving for excellence in both technical design and user experience . After years of research and market feedback they believe they have found the optimum balance between these two domains.
Not only does it support device "wake up from sleep" but it is also designed to support operator "wake up from sleep".
This means that you can fall asleep while using your device and it will go into a power-saving state for your convenience and for environmental safety. Upon waking up you will discover your body will be aligned in "landscape" mode and, therefore, your device must start in "portrait" mode to to be fully compatible with your position. Once you and your device are both fully rebooted you can pick up your device and your orientation can be set at your leisure.
This is just one of the many convenient features of the new range of HP devices. Why not download the beta features such as "toilet mode", "steering wheel balancing mode" and "hand free internet browsing mode" to see more.
