Just got mine back. They replaced the motherboard again. My problems started after the first repair wich caused by wi-fi issues. Apparently the motherboard they replaced at the first time was WRONG OF A KIND or D.O.A!
So what i'm trying to say, this most certainly IS a hardware problem, even though HP try to tell you otherwise and blame on M$FT.

On a different but possibly similar note, I got my daughter the same laptop for Christmas (but in a sleek black with copper trim). She said that compared to hers, my fan runs extremely loud. Not sure if related....
Same issue here after the second repair. But after using it for a week and after several automatic BIOS updates, it's quiet again. ProgramManager was telling me a 99% SSD usage... when running loud. Now after those automatic BIOS updates it's cool and quiet again, and my Spectre X360 runs smooth as it should.

For those that you don't have a SENSORS section in the device manager, you may need to install the corresponding drivers
If this is the case, try installing this driver:
Intel Integrated Sensor Solution Driver
3.0.10.3036 Rev.A
The Intel Integrated Sensor Solution Driver enables the Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and eCompass sensors that provide rotation control functionality typically used in detachable and convertible system. This package is provided for supported models running a supported operating system.
File name: sp74158.exe
Release details
Released: Dec 8, 2015
Version 3.0.10.3036 Rev.A
