I have clean installed windows 10 x64 on the HP elitepad 1000 g2 and after installing all drivers i couldn't find the drivers for the touchscreen and audio. I have searched the hp support site, downloaded and installed every driver. I started searching google and installed as many as i could but i could not get the touchscreen to work. What can i do to get the toucscreen working?

I went from 8.1 to 10 then went to the 8.1 drivers list and installed the atmel touchscreen driver for 8.1. that worked for me. the only problem I have now is updating the bios, Im stuck on 1.30 can't update to 1.35 I keep getting an error during boot that says unable to detect power status

I tried installing 8, 8.1, 10 and do the windows updates. as well as downloading all the drivers from hp website, all the drivers i could find on google and still nothing. touchscreen works in bios, but not in the os. I can't think of anything else to do but i will surely never buy an HP device again.

I had no problem updating the bios. I just run the bios updater and let it do it's thing. I'm guessing that you have the tablet plugged in during bios update and it still fails?
