Hi @slh246,

Thank you for showing your interest in HP Support Forums. It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts, and other support personnel. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for the First Time Here? As I understand you are having performance issues on your HP 10 tablet. Don't worry as I have a few steps to help you get through this concern,

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

What is the product number of this computer? (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...) http://hp.care/2bygf7l

When was the last time it worked?

Was there any update/reset interrupted recently?

Check for system updates on your HP tablet?

Perform a Hard reset on the tablet: Perform a hard reboot to unlock the tablet. Press and hold the power button for more than eight seconds. After the tablet fully shuts down, wait a few seconds, and then press the power button to turn on the tablet.

Next thing, I would suggest here is to check for system update

For more details, please follow the steps suggested in the support document for - Tablet Locks Up or Freezes (Android KitKat, Jelly Bean)

If nothing helps, I would suggest next step would be to Perform a Factory Reset on Your Tablet (Android KitKat, Jelly Bean) - Click here

Please respond to this post with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hearing from you.
