Where is the plus/minus button on the prime? For example, if you want to enter the quadratic formula.

The "±" symbol in written math expressions is shorthand for two separate operations, a plus and a minus.  It is NOT a single operator.  Therefore, when you enter the quadratic formula into Prime (or any other computer) you must enter the whole expressions twice, once with "+", and once with "-".

If you want Prime's "±" character for use in Notes, press Shift Vars (Chars) and press down-cursor 7 times.  Notice that it's character 177, same as on your computer.

Hope that helps!  Disclaimer: I do not work for HP. I'm just another Prime user.
