Hey there! @spursfan52, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!

I understand you have operating system issues with your tablet.

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your tablet?

Are you able to boot into windows do you get any error while booting into windows?

Please try the steps recommended below.

Complete the following steps to reset your computer using the System Recovery option on the Startup screen:
   CAUTION:
All data on the drive is removed during this process. Back up your important information before attempting the recovery.
Shut down the tablet.
First, press the Volume Down button and then press and hold the Power button for about 4 seconds. Release both buttons until the Startup Menu displays.

From the Startup menu, tap F11 to select System Recovery.

On the Choose an option screen, tap Troubleshoot.

On the Troubleshoot screen, tap Reset your PC.
If prompted to insert media, insert an SD card that contains the system recovery image into the card slot.
   NOTE:
If you have a 32GB tablet, insert the micro SD card provided with your tablet (or a new blank 8GB or 16GB microSD card) into the microSD slot. If you have a 64GB version of the tablet, you do not need to insert a microSD card.

Refer this article to know how to perform system recovery on your tablet.

If the issue still persists you can order a set of recovery kit and try performing recovery on your tablet and check if it helps.

You can order a set of recovery kit using this link.

I'll keep an eye out for your response.

I hope you have a great day! 🙂

@spursfan52, It's been great to hear from you again. I was indeed waiting for your response.

I appreciate your efforts for trying out the steps.

Did you try the steps recommended in my previous thread by holding volume down button and then press and hold the power button for about 4 seconds.

Were you able to boot into recovery mode on your tablet?

If you are unable to boot into recovery, please order a set of recovery kit from the link provided.

Or contact HP support and order a set of recovery kit.

Link to contact HP.

Take Care! 🙂

i did try the recovery procedure and it didnt work and there are no recovery media available for the stream 7

Were you able to boot from a Windows 10 install USB from the Media Creation tool?  If you cannot get the tablet to boot from a USB, the recovery media will not help since you have to boot from that.

i did try i had a windows install flash drive i changed bios to reflect the flash drive but it does not start the windows installation

HP Recommended

Make sure the USB boots in another computer.  Try disabling secure boot mode in the BIOS.

It sounds like you are saying that even if you attach a USB keyboard through an OTG adapter, the tablet is still not accepting any input?
