I hate being the bearer of bad news, however, this is what I found:
* Users have free access to the iPass global Wi-Fi service for a period of 12, 24 or 36 months, depending on the device. Users have 12 months from the date of purchase to activate the iPass service. This service is currently available on qualifying HP Android 4.2.2 and Windows 7+ devices sold in the Asia Pacific and Japan only. Promotion expires on April 1, 2017.
