I live in Costa Rica and just bought a new HP Laptop but the keyboard has a Q with an @ in the right bottom corner.  How do I use the @?  I have pressed the Alt GR and control key, just the Alt GR key but cannot figure it out.  Help!

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

 

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

  • Try simultaneously hold down Control+Alt+@ keys
  • And also try to Hold down the shift key while pressing the Q
