Hi! I’ve recently done a factory reset on my HP Slate 10 HD tablet. I’m actually gifting it to a family member of mine who’s not the most tech savy.  I decided to go ahead and get everything set up for them and download some games and apps I’m sure they will like but when I go to download anything from the App Store it says not connected at the bar on the top left corner. I’m connected to my WIFI. Ive tried anything. Any suggestions? Please help! Thank you in advance.

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Can you provide the actual model number of the device?

 

Android devices use the "Play Store" to download applications, not the "App Store".

 

As old as the device might be, the Play Store may restrict many new apps from being downloaded.
