I dont know if this will be what your looking for exactly, but VLC Media Player will do what you're describing.
Once you install it, go to Tools/Preferences.
Select the Interface tab
In the Playlist section, click the box for "Pause on the last frame of a video"
Save
Go to Media and add a folder similar to Windows Media Player.
Go to View and click on Playlist View. Then arrow over from Playlist View Mode and choose Detailed View.
Start playing the first video or audio file (works for either one).
It will pause once it reaches the end
To move on to the next video, hit the n key for next.
Hit the p key for previous.
Hope it helps.

Hello @Yerac, Greetings!
Thank you for reaching out to us on HP Forums. I am happy to assist you.
In almost all the music players available today, we have the option to turn on the “Repeat” mode. Repeat mode will keep playing the same song back to back. If this is an option that you are interested, just scroll through the icons present in your player. One of them will say “Repeat” and you can enable that option.
Please let me know whether that works for you!
Cheers 🙂

I am a singer. What I really want is an app for my HP stream 7 where I can upload my backing tracks and play them one at a time without them going on to the next song automatically. I also need to see them. I have trouble enlarging the screen

Hello @Yerac,
Thank you for writing back.
I understand you want your player to stop playing after one song. I think if you play the tracks directly from your music player it will always jump to the next track.
I would suggest an alternate way. You can go to the folder where you have saved the song and play the song from there. E.g. If you have saved the song under internal storage – media – music, then go to that particular location and double tap on the song that you would like to play. Then it will play that one song only.
Let me know how it goes.
Cheers 🙂
