Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

my pc- hp pavilion windows 7 (64 bit) is not detecting  hotspot of Infinix HOT 8 mobile which detects other networks. The phone detected by other phone, but not with laptop. please suggest some solution.

Possibly its operating a different frequency than your laptop can detect.  Go into your phones hotspot settings, under advanced.  If it allows you to change it, switch from 5 to 2.4Ghz.

Thank you for the response. It is in 2.4Ghz only, tried with both frequency.  Not working.

have you tried manually entering the SSID(network name) along with the password?
