slate 21: recovery image?

While I can find Slate 7 system recovery images and instructions on HPs site, so far I have not been able to find where the corresponding information for the Slate 21 is. Powering on with the volume button pressed reaches a screen just like the one in the Slate 7 instructions and so provides an option for restoring things from the SD card if I have a failure - but that needs the image file! At present "drivers and software" section of the HP web site does not even admit to the Slate 21 existing... I presume that this is just that that has not caught up but I would really like to feel safe sooner rather than later please...

At this point HP does not provide system recovery images for the Slatebook or the Slate 21 (both are Android 4.2). If this changes, I will be happy to post here and let you know. Sorry I don't have better news to share.

Are you asking about the Slate 21?  If so, which model?  k-100, s-100, or Pro?
